An adventure trip in New Zealand

Jeremy raised his hands and exclaimed in delight, ‘Phew! We finally arrive at the
campsite. We’re now in New Zealand!’
In contrast, Dan and Anna were not very excited about this.
‘Nevertheless, you need to be serious about the survival training programme!’ said the
male with glasses.
Since they were not well-behaved at home, their parents made them enroll on the outdoor
survival training programme and build up stamina.
They first went to a river. ‘Greetings! My fellow athletes! Welcome!’ said the instructor.
Without a thought, Jeremy went kayaking at once when he saw the river. Anna and Dan
followed, but they were not as fast as Jeremey.
When Jeremy first completed the task, he was excited. But for the other two, they were
exhausted.
The second challenge was a rock climbing adventure. Anna and Dan leant against a rock
climbing wall.
‘Come on! What’s the matter, Dan? Hurry up!’ said Jeremy, who was having all the fun.

Anna was not experienced in rock climbing. Therefore, she trembled that she could not
continue.
‘ Here, hold my hand, Anna!’ shouted Dan. Dan and Anna took an hour to complete the
task.
After that, they went trekking. The mountain path was steep and rocky. Hikers might easily
trip, but for Jeremy, it was nothing.
Anna sat down on a bench but Jeremy walked away alone. Anna kept shouting but to no
avail.
Anna and Dan packed their bags hurriedly as they wanted to find Jeremy, but he was
nowhere to be found.
‘Where is he?’ asked Dan worriedly. ‘He might have continued walking…’

Anna looked around, and saw Jeremy sitting up next to a rock with a bleeding leg covered
in bruises.
‘What happened?!’ shouted Anna in surprise.
‘Well, I stumbled over this rock.’ Dan and Anna insisted on taking him back to the
campsite.
They all learnt a lesson from the programme.
