P.3 Penfriend Exchange

I have a pen …

I want a friend …
PENFRIEND!
All P.3 students were kept productive this year by drafting, writing,
checking and sending letters to new but never seen before,
friends! Our students shared details about themselves, their
family, their hobbies, their interests with like-minded P.3 students
from Yuen Long Government Primary School. Once our letters
were sent, we could hardly wait for the replies! How old are you
Once the replies came, the excitement of our writing task still grew and so we chose to invite our new penfriends to our school
to take our friendship to the next level of actually meeting each other! We had a Christmas party together!

At our festive party, Penfriends had to ask questions to find each other,
play games, sing, dance and if lucky, receive prizes together! What a
meaningful, real life experience and purpose!

When it was time to say goodbye to each other the parting words were,
“Can we meet each other again soon?!” Friendship is such a valuable
treasure!
