                                                                     In the Kitakyushu Eco-town Centre, students learnt how waste is
                                                                      upcycled and recycled. They visited a lot of advanced facilities that

                                                                      We enjoyed the tranquility of Kokura Castle in Kitakyushu. An
                                                                      iconic building with traditional design built in 1602.
              We strolled along on the promenade enjoying the wonderful
               views at Mojiko Port. The banana man sculpture points to
               Taiwan. It signifies the banana trading relationship since the
               Meiji period (1868-1912).





















                                    In the PET bottle recycling plant, students learnt how PET bottles are
                                     recycled and converted into raw materials for producing daily necessities.
