Our participants
Career choices On day one, the Friends of Scouting, an NGO,
invited two social workers to our school to
conduct a Career Dimensions Test for the
students. It was aimed to prepare the students
for the activities so they had a more accurate
understanding of their career paths. We also
visited a barista training centre, ‘Coffee Lover
Café’. It provided different types of training
for baristas with different levels of experience.
Apart from learning many different techniques
for brewing coffee, our students also had a
rare opportunity to learn coffee latte art. All the
students showed their creativity by drawing
Visiting the Coffee Lover’s Cafe a picture on the surface of their coffee. The
instructor was really impressed by their art work.
Do you know how to brew a cup of good coffee?
Have you ever thought about how each hotel is
unique?
In order to give students more opportunities
to learn from their genuine experiences and to
achieve the goal of whole-person development,
our college organized ‘All-round Learning Days’
from 15 April to 18 April, 2019. Mr. Taylor Chong
and Mr. Steven Wong accompanied 24 form four
and five students on a visit to different workplaces.
The experiences these students had enabled them
to explore and deepen their understanding of
future career paths more comprehensively and far-
reaching, beyond textbooks and a classroom.
