Buddy Reading Day






             On 18 February 2019, the elder buddies brought along their books to
          tell stories and share their reading experience with their younger buddies.
                                                                              The senior buddy is reading a
             Before the Buddy Reading Day, the elder buddies borrowed a book   story to the young buddy patiently.
          from the school library and learnt story-telling and questioning techniques
          in ICT lessons. They used the 5WH questions to have discussion about
          the main idea and the content of the story with the young buddies.

             When the time for story telling was over, the elder buddies taught the
          younger buddies to finish the Reading Marathon slip. This was a precious
          moment to share their feedback and feelings. All of them enjoyed the time
          very much. Teachers agreed that not only could both younger buddies
          and elder buddies learn to listen, read, speak and question, but also
          develop their friendship and raise their interest in reading.
                                                                           They are reading the most interesting
                                                                           part of the book together.




















                                                        The senior buddy shares his knowledge on sea life and asks
                                                        the young buddies to choose their favourite sea animals.
