                                                    Studying Environmental Studies at York University (Canada)

                                                    因為母校老師的教學熱忱，令我受到薰陶，並找到自己的興趣和學習路
                                                    向— 環境科學。環境科學是一門綜合性科學，需要靈活運用生物學及化學
                                                    等科學知識，並探討與環境有關的課題；而母校STEM教育正正培育了我的共
                                                    通能力，以及關心社區與環境的素養。在此，我要感謝老師的教育和陪伴，
                                                    讓我及早找到人生方向。期盼畢業後可以學以致用，回饋社會。
                                                    The teachers at my alma mater were full of enthusiasm, so I was nurtured
                                                    and found my interest and learning pathway in environmental science.
                                                    Environmental science is an integrated science that requires flexible application
                                                    of scientific knowledge such as biology and chemistry in the environmental-
                                                    related topics. The STEM education at my alma mater nurtured my generic
                                                    skills and a caring heart for the community and the environment. I would like
                                                    to extend my thanks to the teachers for their education and accompany. I can
                                                    find my direction in life because of their efforts. I look forward to applying what
                                                    I have learnt and giving back to the society after graduation.

          Studying Actuarial Science at the University of Hong Kong
          青年會書院不但著重學習課本知識，亦重視我們在課本以外的學習。在青年會
          書院，我們有很多機會參與各類活動，國際比賽及海外交流團，讓每個同學都
          可以到外地體驗不同文化，增廣見聞，有利學生的全人發展。我更十分榮幸獲
          得學校推薦，參加「名師高徒」計劃，讓我有機會向大學理科教授學習，曉我
          以科學的真諦，堅定了我對科學的熱誠，奠定我日後在港大理學院學習的基
          礎。盼望學弟學妹能把握學校提供的機會，豐富閱歷！
          My alma mater not only emphasizes on students’ academic performance, but
          also our involvement in extracurricular activities. At CYMCAC, we have many
          opportunities to participate in various international competitions and overseas
          exchange tours. These activities allow students to experience different cultures
          abroad, broaden our horizons and benefit our whole-person development. I am
          honored to be recommended by the school to participate in the ‘Distinguished
          Master, Accomplished Students’ Mentorship Programme, which allow me
          to learn from the top scientists in Hong Kong. The program instilled me with
          the spirit of science, which consolidated my aspiration of exploring science
          and benefited my study at HKU Faculty of Science. I sincerely hope that my
          fellow schoolmates could grasp the chances provided by the school to enrich
          learning experience.
