Odyssey of the Mind

Ms LEE Wing Yin Ms YUEN Siu Wing

Members of the English Drama Team
participated in Problem 5 of Odyssey of the Mind
Hong Kong Regional Tournament 2019. The problem
was about ‘Opposite Distracts’. Our team members
created a story, ‘Virtues in Virtual’, about a battle
between an evil boy and a group of victims being
trapped inside the virtual world. The evil boy tricked Can you guess which one is the evil character?
the victims three times and they were forced to sing,
dance and even dropped from the helicopter without
parachutes! The originally hostile victim groups
gradually united and cooperated to punish the evil
boy at last. The whole drama team jointed efforts to
prepare for the show and all props were designed
and handmade by themselves! They showed high
level of creativity and problem solving skills when
creating the scenes and props. Students’ feedback
was very positive and they engaged in the process a
lot. Finger-crossed for the competition next year!

創意編程設計大賽

王偵老師

為配合STEM教育發展，提升同學對編程設計的興趣，本
校安排2018-19年度「創意STEM特攻隊」學生參加香港青年
協會舉辦的「創意編程設計大賽」。

於比賽過程中，同學不但學會了micro:bit微電腦的編程概
念及它的進階使用方式，而且接觸到不同種類的電子元件，
還進行micro:bit組裝工作，實在獲益良多。

同學於比賽當天與同場六十多隊參賽隊伍作分享及討 ˢᒄٙႫࢪ๫
論，實屬一次難得的經驗。
