4. Funded Research Projects

The directors, working group convenors and research assistant professors of
LEWI have undertaken a variety of research projects financed by HKBU and the

Hong Kong Research Grants Council (RGC). In 2016-17, LEWI secured 7 grants
from GRF, the Central Policy Unit of Hong Kong SAR Government, the NSFC, the

Urban Studies Foundation, the Lord Wilson Heritage Trust and the Hong Kong
Museum of Art (HKMA).
