The English Drama Team was newly established in 2017 and various activities
were arranged to sharpen their theatrical skills. The seventeen energetic and
enthusiastic members participate in drama training every Thursdays that is led by
a professional drama teacher. They also joined ‘Odyssey of the Mind’ competition.
Bravo to their great performance! They showed high collaboration, creativity and
problem solving skills in the competition and they all learnt a lot throughout the
whole preparation.

80 Primary 4 and 5 students were also invited to watch ‘The Scarlet Pimpernel’
performed by AFTEC in September. The pre-show in-school workshop engaged
Visiting the backstage of Yuen Long Theatre the students with the storyline and prepared them for the professional drama
amazed us! There is much backstage performance in Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre Theatre. All students enjoyed the show a
equipment which we have never seen before! lot and they all wanted more drama activities to be held in school too!

The pre-show workshop made the students know
more about the story plot and character development. We couldn’t wait for the show to start!

We sat together and discussed the competition details.

What a memorable day! We learnt a lot from the preparation
and performance of other teams too.
