As another school year comes to a close, I am humbled to be able to express my gratitude in writing, for this
wonderful and rewarding professional experience. This year, we have successfully completed the 5-Year Evaluation
Study and Visit with the IBO, and we are delighted to continue to be authorised to offer the IB Diploma programme.
The feedback from the IBO was very positive; reflecting well on our learning community and is indicative of the hard
work, talent and professionalism of all KCCIS staff.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our parents for putting their faith, trust and support in our teachers
and our school. We are delighted to have two IGCSE graduates who received the “Top of the World” award and
“Top of Hong Kong” award in two of our subjects offered. To all of our students, thank you for your hard work and
enthusiasm in making KCCIS a warm and a better place to learn and grow.

Congratulations to our graduating students, I wish you every success in your future studies and endeavours, and I
look forward to welcoming you back as our alumni. For colleagues who are leaving us this summer, thank you for
being a part of the KCCIS community and for your professional commitment and service to our school.

I must say a big thank you, as always, to Ms. Gerlach and the Yearbook Committee who have all been diligently
working and constantly reminding the staff to record all of our events both in pictures and words, throughout the
year. The results of all their efforts and of course everyone’s efforts are recorded in this publication.

Have a great summer and I look forward to another successful year in 2019-2020!
