My name is Miss McGoldrick and
I have loved Mathematics since
I was in primary school. I find
Algebra particularly exciting!
My advice for students who
are worried by the concept of
advanced math is to not let it
intimidate you… it's really as
easy as pi!
More mathematical knowledge, building upon
Year 7 experiences, have been introduced to Year
8 focusing on connection between mathematics
and real life. The fun-loving Year 8 students have
explored the concept around their real world
scenarios in order to make sense of various
complex problem solving skills.
Mathematical investigation and discovery are the
main themes for our young curious adults, aka
Year 9 and Year 10 students as a significantly
greater degree of abstraction is required.
Succeeding in the IGCSE and IB examinations
is a core focus for our go-getting Year 11
and 13 students. Through hard work and
determination, Year 11 and 13 students have
developed significantly via a carefully structured
and practical knowledge-based approach to the
application of mathematical skills as required to
be demonstrated by the examination board.
Best of luck…Year 11 and Year 13! You CAN do it!
