                                                                  We are now entering the final
          Mathematics Department                                  month of this school year and it

                                                                  has been a fantastic year for our
                                                                  Mathematics Department. First

                                                                  of all, we are very pleased to
                                                                  welcome Ms. Jodie McGoldrick,
                                                                  our new teaching staff to join
                                                                  our team.


                                                                  As expected, this year has been
                                                                  very busy with lots of learning
                                                                  opportunities for the students.

                                                                  Our  Year 7 students are
                                                                  energetic and they have settled

                                                                  have effortlessly transitioned

                                                                  curriculum to Year 7 for the

                                                                  students to be more confident
                                                                  in  their  numeracy  skills  and
                                                                  enrich their abilities to develop
                                                                  problem solving skills. A variety

                                                                  of technology-based tools
                                                                  are regularly used as ways to
                                                                  explore mathematical concepts
                                                                  as well as to discover the

                                                                  connections between patterns
                                                                  and concepts.
