Enjoy Learning Through
a Diversified School-based Curriculum
The school values the language development of students. In order to cultivate a
language-rich learning environment, we have chosen English, Putonghua and Cantonese
as the medium of instruction (MOI). We aim to develop our students to be biliterate (i.e.
to master both written Chinese and English) and trilingual (i.e. to speak fluent Cantonese,
Putonghua and English). We hope our students will become talented people with a
mastery of both languages.
MOI Subjects
English English, Math (P4 to P6), Science, P.E., Music and V.A.
Putonghua Chinese and General Studies
Cantonese Math (P1 to P3) and I.C.T.
The school cultivates an effective reading environment through “USSR” (Uninterrupted
Sustained Silent Reading). This enables our students to be self-directed learners. We also
offer a diversified school-based curriculum with an aim to enhance students’ learning
experiences by creating a lot of opportunities for them to partake in activities, such as
Chinese Drama, English Drama, Poetry Café, Chinese Debate and English Debate, etc.
These extended learning experiences stimulate students’ interest in learning, maximise
their potential and maintain a level of continuous curiosity to embrace the changes in the
world.
