Dear Diary
I celebrate Christmas every year with my family and friends. But last Christmas
was different from my usual ones because we held it at home. It was our first time to
hold a party at home so I was very excited.
In the morning, I began to prepare food and drinks with my mum and our maid.
My father and my brother Anson decorated the home with a huge Christmas tree and
a lot of colourful ornaments. I made some beef and apple juice with my mum and our
maid for the party. I tasted the juice and thought it was tasty.
It was about seven o’clock when ‘Ding-dong”, the door bell rang. I opened
the door for my friends. It was Jack, Mee Kaa, Winnie and Paul. They were my
kindergarten friends. First, we had our Christmas dinner. My mum and our maid
made a lot of food. They were delicious! Then, we played some board games. We
played Monopoly. It was fun. Later on, we played jigsaw puzzles. There were 3000
pieces of puzzles in the box and we completed the puzzles in an hour. At last, we
chatted with each other and played computer games.
We all had an enjoyable and a delightful time at the party. My parents were
considering to hold the party again next year. I hope they will say yes!
My unforgettable holiday

My last summer holiday is different from my previous ones. My mum took me to a learning centre near our home.
It was my first time. I had art classes there. It was a joyful lesson.
In the centre, it was very noisy. The teacher took me and some children to a room. The room was small but there
were a lot of seats. I sat on a seat and took out my poster colors and some paper. The teacher said the drawing title
was “My dream job”. A little boy drew a pilot. A girl drew a model. I drew a fashion designer who was writing a story!
The teacher thought my idea was strange. I told him I like both jobs and that's why.
Then, the teacher took us to a white wall. He told us to draw on the
wall, the title was”Happy in the centre”. I was very surprised, I asked, ‘What?
I can draw on the wall?’ Some children said, ‘Yes, you can! I picked up a
poster colour and started to draw. Because I was never allowed to draw on
the wall at home so I was really surprised at what the teacher said.
After an hour, the teacher gave us some coloured paper. He said we
could use the paper for anything. I cut the paper and gave it to the teacher.
He stacked it on the wall. He also took me and the children to paint the
door of the centre.
Half an hour later, I was reluctant to leave the centre. It was truly an
unforgettable summer. I hope I will go there again soon.
