Education Leaders Luncheon                                                   VEO proudly took part in “Agency by Design: Early Childhood
                                                                              in the Making,”  a pioneering research initiative led by Project
 and Maker Centered                                                           Zero of The Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE).
                                                                              The study aimed to investigate how maker-centered learning

 「創客教育」展覽                                                                     VEO held the “Education Leaders Luncheon and Maker
                                                                              Centered Learning Exhibition” in May 2019 to share valuable
                                                                              findings and insights from the study and about STEAM

                                                                              The event attracted over 100 esteemed educators and STEAM
                                                                              professionals, including principals and senior kindergarten
                                                                              teaching staff, educators from local and international primary/
                                                                              secondary schools, professors, leaders of education-related
                                                                              organisations and companies, members of media and
                                                                              government officials.


                                                                              After the event, participants offered effusive feedback, thanking
                                                                              the organisers for providing a fruitful opportunity to learn from
                                                                              the Project Zero research and collaborate with educators from
                                                                              diverse fields of experience.

                                                                              本機構很榮幸參與美國哈佛大學教育研究院 Project Zero 團隊名
                                                                              為“Agency by Design: Early Childhood in the Making”的「創
                                                                              客教育」先導研究計劃,將「創客教育」融入教育中,透過引
                                                                              發學生對一事一物構造認知的好奇,建立「敢創」精神,從而
                                                                              讓教育專家研究和了解以「創客」為學習中心的教育模式。

                                                                              為了分享「創客教育」的經驗及此先導計劃的研究成果,我們於
                                                                              2019 年 5 月 成功舉辦首屆《教育領袖研討會暨午宴》及「創客
                                                                              教育」展覽。是次活動吸引了過百名於教育界極具份量的領袖代
                                                                              表和 STEAM 專家出席,當中包括來自著名本地及國際幼稚園、
                                                                              小學和中學的校長、高級老師、專門研究 STEAM 的大學教授和
                                                                              學院主任、相關教育機構的領袖、資深傳媒高層、政府官員等。
                                                                              是項甚具啟發性的研究令出席嘉賓留下深刻印象,正面推動教
                                                                              育發展。
