Taking Ceremony

Mr. Lau Kenn Abel

It has been another amazing year for the Discipline and Guidance group. The
group has worked tirelessly with all our teachers to ensure that students get the
proper emotional and character guidance.

Compared with last year, we feel extremely grateful that we can finally see
our students face-to-face. Through this, we are reminded that true and meaningful
connections can only be formed when we are in the physical presence of each other.
Every time I am greeted by a student, it gives me an indescribable jolt of satisfaction
that reminds me of the duty I owe to every one of our students in their growth into
responsible and respectable citizens of the world.
Another aspect which I feel immensely proud of is the ability to work with parents to help nurture the well-
being of our students. It brings me great comfort to know parents recognise that it takes a collective effort to build
and maintain a harmonious and lively campus for all our students; one where trust is valued; respect is mutual;
and relationships are treasured. It goes without saying that no school can
sustain itself without a strong backbone of support from parents working
with the school, and not against it.

Finally, I owe an immense debt of gratitude to all the panel members
- Mr Leung, Mr Lai, Miss Cheung, Miss Yeung, Student Guidance Officer
Miss Ho and Educational Psychologist Miss Li – for their sacrificial and
unwavering efforts in providing all forms of support and comfort to our
students in their times of need.
I look forward to another fantastic year to come!
