Message from the Treasurer
於2020-2021的財政年度，本會再次因疫情的關
係取消了街頭賣旗籌款活動，令機構的營運資金
一度出現壓力。幸得捷成集團慈善基金的資助，
幫助本會紓解了不少財政壓力。另外，本會有幸
繼續獲得社會福利署殘疾人士／病人自助組織資
助計劃(2020-2022)、香港公益金、陳楊福和基
金有限公司、陳慧慧基金有限公司及來自社會各
界的支持，使本會的教育、倡導、支援及治療的
服務得以推展，讓更多有需要的人士受惠。
在開支方面，本會主要的開支為員工薪酬與公益
金資助計劃的支出，其次是租金。由於有服務收
入及資助，所以本會在教育及支援活動這兩方面
的支出相對較少。
展望未來，本會除繼續投放資源於推廣預防及教
育工作外，更會積極尋找撥款，以拓展治療及倡
導等服務範疇。而在來年，本會亦會繼續申請
社會福利署殘疾人士／病人自助組織資助計劃
(2022-2024)撥款，籌得款項有助紓緩本會財政
壓力。

In the financial year of 2020-2021, our public
flag-selling fundraising activity was cancelled
again due to COVID-19. This caused some
financial pressure of the organisation for a
period of time. Fortunately, the Jebsen Group
Charitable Fund allocated funding support to the
organisation which relieve a lot of our financial
pressure. Besides, we have the privilege to
continue to receive support from the Financial
Support Scheme for Self-help Organisations
of Persons with Disabilities / Chronic Illnesses
(2020-2022) by Social Welfare Department,
The Community Chest of Hong Kong, The
Chen Yang Foo Oi Foundation Limited, The
Chen Wai Wai Vivien Foundation Limited and
the support from all sectors of the community
have promoted our education, advocacy and
supportive and treatment services to benefit
more people in need.
In terms of expenditure, the main expenditure
was the staff remuneration and the project of
The Community Chest, followed by rent. As we
received sponsorship and service fees from
educational and supportive activities, expenses
on these areas were relatively small.
Going forward, in addition to continuing to
devote resources to the promotion of prevention
and education, we will also actively seek
funding to expand our scope of services such
as treatment and advocacy. In the coming year, Hong Kong Eating Disorders Association Limited (2020-2021 ANNUAL REPORT)
we will continue to apply for Financial Support
Scheme for Self-help Organisations of Persons
with Disabilities / Chronic Illnesses (2022-2024)
by Social Welfare Department flag day to raise
funds to help ease our financial stress.
