Singapore

Singapore’s array of landscapes and cultures lent themselves
well to exploration and contemplation. While the light show
at the Supertree Grove was eye-catching and awe-inspiring,
the night safari recharged our spirit of adventure and raised
awareness of animal and environmental protection. Merlion Park
offers a spectacular city skyline and a terrific view of Marina Bay
Sands across the water; by contrast, the display of Paranakan
beadwork and embroidery are testimony of traditional craftsmanship
and of the unique customs and rituals of the Nyonyas. We also
learned about the technology of recreating drinking water for
its residents. Visiting museums and walking on old streets in
Singapore were pretty much like taking a stroll through history and
prompted us to contemplate what we could contribute to this world.

了許多，也學到了許多。
我們在新生水廠感受前沿

在魚尾獅公園徜徉，在新
加坡國立大學流連，在博
物館的展品前駐足沈思。
所有這一切讓我們學會了
珍惜友誼，尊重知識，熱
愛生活。也讓我們懂得了
讀萬卷書之可貴，行萬里
路之重要。
