Chinese Drum Team

The W F Joseph Lee Primary School Chinese Drum Team was founded
in 2011. There are now 32 members from junior and senior form in the team.
The aim of the team is to provide high quality training to students and promote
Chinese music and culture. Through regular practice and participating in various
performances (e.g. Water Race performance, Sports and Art Building Opening
Ceremony) and competitions, the team develops students’ patience, cooperation

and discipline. We got the merit award in The 16 Hong Kong Synergy 24 Drum
Competition and gold award in Joint School Music Competition 2019.
We are glad that our school support us a lot, so that the drum team has a
chance to go on the Shanxi excursion. This learning excursion let students learn
a lot as they got professional training from Shanxi Jiangzhou Drum Troupe.
They enjoyed a lot.
