Finding Opportunities
尋求創造機會
We built our Star Ferry with solar, water and wind power. We lined
the windows with sensors that would alert people if they attempted to
throw rubbish out of the windows. We added many things to our Star
Ferry to help reduce pollutants and to aid in keeping the water clean.
我們尋求推進創新的機會令天星小輪更加環保。運用再生能源 -「太陽
能」、「水力」及「風能」來啟動輪船,減少燃油對海洋的負擔,並於渡
輪上增設不同設備以減低及提醒乘客不能亂拋垃圾於海中,共同保護美麗
的維多利亞港。

我們會閱讀和書寫
During our inquiry into the water crisis, we discussed
and documented the various issues caused by water
pollution. We then created notices and posters to help
raise people’s awareness about the need to keep the
harbour clean.
We made use of the concept of “renewable energy” when designing
"Save the World Star Ferry". In our blueprint, we labeled the different
parts of the ferry and explained their functions and the rationales
behind our design.
We then shared our blueprints and their conception with our fellow
classmates. We also highlighted the differences between the existing
Star Ferry and our proposed design.
在探索水危機的過程中,我們提出及記錄有關水污染所帶來的問題,然後
書寫不同的提示、警告標誌及建議,提醒個人的行為會污染水質。
當設計環保渡海小輪「拯救地球號」時,我們加入再生能源概念,並在設
計圖加上適當的標示,清晰地闡述其設計意念,令讀者易於閱讀和理解。
完成設計圖後,我們自信地與人分享其設計意念及各組件的功用,更對比
了新渡輪的設計與現時的渡輪之間的分別。
