                  Our school provides different programmes and a wide range of activities to
            enhance students’ interests and confidence in exploring and learning English. Our
            aim is to enable students to develop an ever-improving capability to think and
            communicate in English for cognitive, inter-personal and aesthetic purposes through
            listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
            P1-3 Primary Literacy Programme – Reading (PLP-R)


                  To promote the use of storytelling, reading aloud, shared reading, guided
            reading and independent reading as strategies for teaching reading.
            P1 Phonics Programme


                  To develop students’ reading skills through teaching students the letter sounds
            and blending skill.
            P4-6 Keys 2 Literacy Development Programme


                  To develop students’ reading and writing skills progressively through a variety
            of learning and teaching strategies.
            P4-6 Literacy Development across Curriculum


                  To promote literacy development across curriculum using non-fiction reading
            materials with appropriate reading levels to suit students’ needs and abilities.

                  The school offers some after-school programmes and activities, such as English
            Day Camp, Enhancement Programme, Cambridge English Assessment Courses,
            Drama Team and Choral Speaking Team.
            Competitions


                  Through participating in different competitions, students’ confidence in
            applying English is enhanced. In the past few years, we joined the Hong Kong School
            Drama Festival, the Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival and some other competitions
            which were organized by secondary schools or institutes.
