                                                動物輔助治療(Animal  Assisted  Therapy)是由註冊/認可執照的治
                                                療師,以受過訓練的動物,主要是犬隻,通過設計合適治療方案,並
                                                以個人治療形式進行,讓服務使用者身心得到改善。AAT可以融合不
                                                同的專業治療,例如職業治療、物理治療、言語治療、心理治療或行
                                                為治療等。


                                                家長、社工、老師、機構負責人等均可以透過網上轉介或直接報名參
                                                加治療計劃。個人治療服務每節45分鐘,每人6節,計劃節數因人而
                                                異,有需要的參加者可以增加節數。活動內容主要按照參加者於面談
                                                時定下的目標而安排,每一節內容會稍作調整從而令服務使用者可以
                                                更準確。由2020年12月起至2021年11月,協會已為38位個案進行
                                                219節治療,服務使用者的年齡介符2至25歲。























          Individual Animal Assisted Therapy is a goal-directed
          individual session designed to improve the physical,
          social, emotional and/or cognitive functioning of the
          clients. The training plan is designed and delivered by licensed therapists and animal-handler
          teams, AAT can be integrated with different therapies, such as occupational therapy, clinical
          psychology or applied behavior analysis.


          Parents, social workers, teachers, and workers from organizations can fill in online application
          form to apply or refer cases to join the AAT Individual program. Individual sessions are 45
          minutes per session, each program contains 6 sessions and participants can increase the
          number of sessions if needed. Service activities and goals will be planned and set after
          interviewing with participants. When conducting the sessions, therapists will adjust the
          activities in order to enhance participants’ abilities more sufficiently. Since December
          2020 to November 2021, HKGDA has completed 219 sessions for 38 participants
          aged between 2 to 25 years old.
