動物輔助治療（Animal Assisted Therapy, 簡稱AAT）
是由註冊／認可執照的治療師，以受過訓練的動物，
主要是犬隻，通過設計合適治療方案並以小組形式進
行，讓服務使用者身心得到改善。AAT可以融合不同
的專業治療，例如職業治療、物理治療、言語治療、
心理治療或行為治療等。

Starting from December 2020, HKGDA started to
provide Animal Assisted Therapy Group Sessions to
schools, community centers and private sectors. As
of November 2021, HKGDA has provided 24 group
therapy sessions for 19 organizations and schools,
and we served 104 participants in total. The content
of the sessions mainly include: group session manners
and rules, introducing all the AAI dogs of HKGDA,
information about dog caring and grooming, making
treats and dog toys in order to facilitate the clients to
cooperate with each other, participating activities with
AAI dogs (e.g. greeting and say goodbye to AAI dogs,
leash walk with AAI dogs, learn basic commands and
some tricks with AAI dogs, etc.).
