          現任九龍塘天主教華德學校英文科科主任

I completed my primary study in Bishop Walsh Primary School
(A.M.) in 1977 and became an English teacher in Bishop Walsh
Primary School (P.M.) in 2008. Being an alumnus teacher in Kowloon
Tong Bishop Walsh Catholic School, I hope Bishop Walsh students
develop in a holistic way to become diligent, prudent, humble and
responsible persons in the service of God and society. I have been
teaching here for more than a decade. Here are some of my unforgettable memories.
Professor Maurice Galton visited our school on 16 March, 2012. He observed Since 2011, I have been taking charge of Happy English Programme. For
an English lesson which was conducted by me and appreciated our pupils’ broadening students’ horizons in learning English, the school has participated
performance and English competency. After the lesson observation, Professor in the Happy English Programme which is a joint programme of Hong Kong
Galton, EDB officers and our school representatives had a thorough discussion on Metropolitan School Council and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. It provided
the development and strategies of small class teaching. Professor Maurice Galton chances for students to communicate with the CUHK exchange students coming
paid us another visit on 20 June, 2013 as he wanted to follow-up and further from different overseas countries. It also motivated students to take more initiative
understand the development of small class teaching in our school. in using English in their daily life through participating the wide range of activities
                                                                                       organized by the Council.

During these years, I have already worked with a lot of overseas candidates.
To end up the programme in each semester, I would like to bring them walk around
Kowloon City and taste some street food with them. It is a good chance to promote
Hong Kong and Chinese cultures to them as well.

To end up and share with you – the lyrics written by Joe Darion,
                                                                                            To dream the impossible dream
                                                                                            To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear with the unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go
We organized the Joint School Workshop on 26 Aug 2015. Thanks for the To right the unrightable wrong
support of the alumni. Gilbert Wu, one of our enthusiastic alumni, gave the English To be better far than you are
