Physical Education

This year has seen the school continue to grow,
and the Physical Education Department within
KCCIS has also grown significantly. Activities such
as Personal Fitness and Ball Hockey are becoming
core parts of the Physical Education curriculum.
This has led to the first all-girls Ball Hockey team
representing the school at inter-school competitions.
A healthy love for sport amongst the students has
allowed the GCSE Physical Education programme
to produce another successful cohort. In addition,
this year the Physical Education department was
excited to add a brand new component, the IB DP
Sports, Exercise and Health Science course for
the very first time, allowing students to continue
their passion and interest in Sports throughout
their entire time at KCCIS. The Physical Education
department has seen this year as a great success
and hopes that the next academic year will be so
as well.
