I feel that many misunderstand the point behind studying
History, the focus is not so much on the facts themselves
(although they do prove useful in understanding the context
of many modern day phenomenons) but instead on the skills
acquired in analysing sources, interpreting the information
and using it to construct a logical and supported argument.
