I still remember the incident that happened in December when I was a
in Primary 5. It was a very unforgettable and special memory to me.
I was walking down the stairs when I suddenly fell down the staircase.
I had a bruise on my right knee but I didn’t cry. It was very painful. But I still
had to go downstairs to take care of the students who were in Primary 1, so
I walked down the stairs carefully and painfully.
When it was lunchtime, I was still in pain and decided to tell my English
teacher what had happened. He immediately took me to the staff room to
take care of me. He put ice cubes into a small bag and put it on my bruise.
After a while, my Primary 4 class teacher saw me and asked me what
happened, I told her the situation and she immediately comforted me. After
a painfully long 20 minutes, my injury was better so I walked back to my
classroom to have recess. At last, my injury was cured and I was very glad.
I am so lucky to have great teachers, but I definitely need to be more
careful.

It happened last month, the puppetry crew and I needed to go all the
way to Central Civic Center for a competition, so we took a bus which
brought us there. It was an exciting ride. I felt nervous because it was the
first time I was in a competition against schools in Hong Kong. My teacher
and friends comforted me, ‘Don’t worry! It will be all right.’ I felt better.
After a while, our bus arrived at our destination. My family surprised
me, since they came a long way just to watch my performance. Soon, the
crew and I were called to the Performing Hall. I met all the other competitors
and their teachers rushing to the hall. After a long and boring ceremony, the
performers started to play.
We watched and watched, soon, just a few more puppet shows and it
would be our turn. I felt my heart beating fast, shaking. I felt very nervous.
Then, it was our turn. Although I felt nervous, I still did my best. I was saying
the words from the script clearly. When we finished, we heard a loud roar of
applause and cheering.
Finally, they gave out the prizes, we weren’t expecting a prize, since
they already gave out the first to third place prizes. Suddenly, the announcer
said the merit 1 prize went to... North Point Government. Primary School!
My friends and I felt very happy. I couldn’t believe it. We stepped up on to
the stage and were given our prizes. I felt glad. I felt very happy. This was
an unforgettable experience.
