Olympiad Team

Our Maths Olympiad Team aims at heightening students’ Regular training takes part in the Primary

students from each level are selected to the school team based
on their academic performance in mathematics, performance in
different mathematics competitions and nomination by teachers.
Training programmes are provided after school. Team members
have chances to join various Maths Olympiad competitions.
Through joining the training and competitions, not only will
students’ mathematics ability be enhanced, but also an opportunity
to know students from different schools, or even around the world.

6E Wong Check Him
I am Marcus Wong from 6E. I have joined the Mathematics Olympiad Team for two years.
I have made many friends who love Mathematics very much. Also, I joined some competitions
on behalf of the school, for instance, the Huaxiabei National Mathematics Olympic Invitation
Competition 2019 (Hong Kong District) and Asia International Mathematical Olympiad Open
Contest. I have learnt a lot from the regular training offered by the school. Also, I have learnt
how to cooperate with other teammates when joining group competitions. I feel good for having
these competitions because it is a fun way to train our logical thinking skills. The experience of
attending the competitions and training provided me with a solid foundation to explore more on
mathematics. I hope I can join more competitions in the future.
