Social Service Team



        This year, the Social Service Team coordinated a range of student services. These varied experiences allowed
        students to deepen their understanding of the community. Our ultimate goal is to encourage peers to develop
        a greater awareness of societal issues and challenges in our everyday lives.



         Life Wide Learning Experiences                    27 October, 5 November and


          All S2 students participated in workshops       27 November 2025
            for the “JC VOLUNTEER TOGETHER”
            Project. These workshops provided insights
            into the challenges faced by the elderly and
            explored potential solutions to enhance
            their quality of life. The initiative enabled S2
            students to gain a deeper understanding
            of the societal issues related to aging and
            the various ways to support the elderly
            population.



                                                                14 October, 22 October, 27 October,
                                                                5 November, and 13 November 2025

                                                                90 S5 students participated in the training
                                                                  workshop and service programme titled “Baptist
                                                                  Love Group Social Service Centre Positive Life
                                                                  Education Programme ‘1+23 Positive Character
                                                                  Development Plan’” on 14 October, 22 October,
                                                                  27 October, 5 November, and 13 November
                                                                  2025. Throughout the workshop, they cultivated
                                                                  positive values and organised a service activity
                                                                  assisting the elderly and the blind, as well as
                                                                  protecting animals. The students prepared gifts
                                                                  and greeting cards for the elderly and the blind
                                                                  while also acquiring skills in dog care during the
                                                                  training sessions.

                                                  S3 LWL Workshop related to the Oxfam Hong Kong
                                                 We conducted a talk titled “A Simple Meal” for S3 students
                                                 during Life-wide Learning lessons. This event enhanced students’
                                                 understanding of global hunger and the actions they can take to
                                                 help alleviate it.
