S2 One Person, One Flower Scheme and
                                          Vertical Planting System Design Competition and
                                          S2 AIoT workshop
                                          This year, the STEAM Education Team, Junior Science Department,
                                          partnered with the Gardening Society to provide training and a
                                          competition for all S2 students. From December 2025 to March 2026,
                                          the One-Person-One-Flower Scheme and the Inter-class Vertical
                                          Planting System Design Competition were launched. The programmes
                                          encouraged students to apply skills learned from junior science and AIoT
                                          workshops to product design. Student helpers also supported elderly
                                          learners in the Elder Academy Planting workshop, teaching them how to
                                          plant the flowers and caring for them.





















        Competitions

        HKU Engineering X TKOGSS Racing Cup 2025
        Three S3 students, CHU Wing-yeung S3A, WONG Chun-wai S3A, and LI Yin-tai S3B participated in the HKU
        Engineering X TKOGSS Racing Cup 2025, an event organised by the Engineering Department of the University
        of Hong Kong in collaboration with Tseung Kwan O Government Secondary School. The competition required
        teams to design and build a racing car. Our school team won the Overall Group Champion, the Appearance
        Design Award, and the Teamwork Award.





        National Security X STEAM Wireless Power Transmission—
        Electronic Gazebo and Electronic Spring Festival Couplets
        Design Competition 2025
        Two teams of S1 students participated in the National Security X STEAM
        Wireless Power Transmission—Electronic Gazebo and Electronic Spring
        Festival Couplets Design Competition 2025, organised by the Faculty of
        Engineering of The University of Hong Kong in collaboration with Tseung
        Kwan O Government Secondary School, in December 2025.
        In the Electronic Gazebo Design Section, CHUENG Wai-him
        S1D, CHU Chun-hei S1D, and SHI On Anson S1D won both
        the Championship and the Most Creative Design Award in the
        Electronic Spring Festival Couplets Section. They also secured
        the Championship and the Best Chinese Cultural Award. In
        the Gazebo Design Section, GE CAPRIO Yin-hei S1C, LEUNG
        Cheuk-hei Cyrus S1C, and TSANG Tsz-long Jonathan S1C
        were the Second Runner-up. They also received a Merit Award
        in the Electronic Spring Festival Couplets section.
