QEF Thematic Network (QTN) on ‘CreaSTEMtivity by Micro:bit’
Our school has successfully obtained over $6.5 million grant from QTN on ‘CreaSTEMtivity by Micro:bit’ in 2018/19 and 2019/20. It aims at providing
training to the teachers of primary and secondary schools to support the development of STEM education. On the one hand, it helps the primary
school and secondary school build up school-based STEM curriculum on Computer Literacy and General Studies respectively. Besides, it helps
enhance students’ generic skills relevant to each key learning area by making use of Micro:bit. Moreover, the scheme helps establish a professional
network and encourage professional exchange among schools.
