Blog Entry: My First Trip To London

My first day in London Monday, 16 April, 2015
Today was a sunny day. I came to London to visit my Aunt who lives in
London. I’m having a ten-day trip in London with my family
members. Our plane landed at one o’clock at night.
Today is the first full day of our trip, we visited many
sights in London, such as Big Ben, London Bridge and a
big football stadium — Stamford Bridge Stadium. Also, we
did a lot of shopping there.
First, we visited Big Ben. Big Ben is a big clock tower.
It was built in 1858. It’s very tall. I took a lot of photos with it.
Then we visited London Bridge which is near Big Ben. Why did I want to visit
it? When I was small, I always listened to a song called ‘London Bridge is Falling
Down’. I really wanted to know whether the bridge has fallen down. Yet, the bridge
was still there. It was bad news for me. (Just joking!) Since it’s the first time for me
to visit London Bridge, I sang the song there. It’s fun!
Then we had a big lunch in a famous restaurant. We tried
a lot of local food such as fish and chips and some pies. They
all tasted really good!
After finishing our lunch, we started to visit the Stamford
Bridge Stadium. It’s the famous football
club Chelsea’s home stadium. Luckily, we
managed to buy tickets to watch a good match — Chelsea VS
Liverpool. Finally, Liverpool won. I was very happy because I
love Liverpool more. I bought some souvenirs for my friend Peter. He is a big fan of
Chelsea. I think he will love them.
Today was such an amazing day. I can’t wait to visit other places tomorrow.

Edit: I just found out that the bridge I visited today
is actually called Tower Bridge, not London Bridge. Silly
me!
