are so unique and delicious that they can hardly
come across the same in their homelands!
Therefore, it is a great opportunity for the
exchange students to widen their food choices
apart from the junk food they have been eating
          in most of their meals.
The exchange students can be taken
to enjoy three kinds of local food, namely the
traditional Chinese food, street snacks and seafood. Through eating dim sum
like egg tarts and shaomai in Chinese restaurants, curry fishballs and stinky tofu
from streets in Mong Kok and delicious seafood at one of the Aberdeen floating
restaurants, students can taste various kinds of local cuisines that will be difficult to
resist, enjoying part of our local food culture.
          3. A visit to The Peak with local students
There are no words to describe the beauty of our city and the surrounding
natural scenery. There is no better place to glimpse at the fascinating view of our
metropolis than at the top of a mountain. At the Peak, the exchange students can
see the magnificent view of Victoria Harbour and numerous tall buildings and
even attractive lights at night. The Peak Lookout is also a Hong Kong landmark
for tourists to have a stunning view of our city. Shopping in the malls at the Peak,
buying souvenirs and tasting high-quality dishes from fancy restaurants to simple
cafes can also be activities that they do there.
We recommend going to the Peak at night
so as to see the amazing Hong Kong night view.
We can also encourage the local students to
accompany them so that they can understand
cultures other than their own. The local students
can also introduce the history of our city to them,
which further widens the exchange students’
                                     horizons.
          Conclusion
I believe this proposal has a good range and mix of activities suitable for
the students. The programme would give them a great experience and lots of
opportunities to learn about life in Hong Kong. They would take home many happy
memories of their time in Hong Kong and I urge you to support my proposal.
