I have some suggestions on ways to make teenagers more interested in
volunteering. I think schools can hold some talks to promote the importance of
and disseminate information about volunteering to students, such as what types
of charity work they can do, how they can get involved, and how they can benefit
from doing charity work. With more information, hopefully, more students will be
interested in doing charity work.
Schools can set up clubs like the Social Service Club or the Voluntary
Club to organise different types of charity work for students. It can provide more
opportunities for students to take part in charity work. They can choose to join one
they are interested in.
Hong Kong is our home. If every one of us can take part in volunteering to help
the needy, together we can make Hong Kong a better place.
