Thirdly, the students attending tutorial schools always receive a lot of notes
from their tutors. The notes prepared by the tutors include all the main points of
the content that the students need
to study. Almost all the classmates
around me no longer study their
textbooks, but only the notes they
get from their tutors. Most of them
can already do well in the tests by
studying the notes. The notes can
help students reduce their pressure as they can do their revision more effectively.
Some people criticize that the reason students join tutorial schools is because
of peer influence. A lot of students go because their classmates and friends do so.
Therefore, it is not a good phenomenon. Actually, if joining tutorial schools can help
students get better results in the exam, there is nothing wrong about that. It can
show that students do care a lot about their studies, which is something all parents
and teachers want to see.
Students in Hong Kong are under a lot of stress. As tutorial schools can help
students study more easily and effectively and do better in public examinations, it is
obvious that they do more good than harm.
