a higher price. The public can feel more confident about the service and they can
have a choice on what drivers they would like to hire.
It is always important to introduce more competition to public services so that
there is an incentive to improve. The Hong Kong Government should co-operate
with Uber because many Hong Kong taxi passengers complain that taxi drivers are
rude and often reject some passengers who travel shorter distances. Even though
there are more luxurious taxis in operation now, it is still not enough. By introducing
competition, taxi services can be improved too.
Uber should be allowed to serve Hong Kong people as it is an easy and
convenient way to travel. In this
generation, we should keep
an open mind and accept new
technology. We should think
about what is inadequate and
take necessary actions so that
our society can become better.
