Letter: My Drama Camp
4A Cindy Li Ching Kei
Dear Sam,
I’m sorry I haven’t written for so long. I hope you’re doing well. As a member
of the Drama Club at school, I was invited to spend the summer at the Top Teen
Actor’s Camp in Macau. Today is my first day here and I think this activity can
definitely improve my English.
It’s my first time to travel to Macau.
The location of the camp is so scenic and
picturesque, and there are dormitories and a
theatre in the camp. The camp is educational
and challenging. I’ve already known the
story of the drama we are going to learn.
It is about some poor children who want to learn English and how they work hard
and try many ways to improve their English. I think this story is really touching and
meaningful.
The drama camp has been an eye-opening experience.
There are many instructors in this camp. They are so talented
and creative, and I think some of them can act very well. It is
amazing. My favourite instructor is Vanessa Hudgens. She is
a wonderful instructor. I like her teaching so much. I have also
learned many acting skills and English speaking skills from her.
Of course, I am a lovely girl who has many friends and the new
friends I made are all cheerful and caring. We always discuss
English and drama matters. I have also enhanced my creativity and confidence in
speaking English on the stage. I can develop my drama potential and improve my
pronunciation. I have also learned how to create sound effects and write a drama
script. The instructors also introduced some effective ways for us to project our
voices on the stage. There are just so many things to learn!
Alright, I have to attend my drama lesson now. I look forward to your reply.
All the best,
Cindy
