many prizes across different sports; but if you were to quit, it would mean flaming
out in one of our strongest events.
I support you in your endeavour to master football and impress us with your
leadership of our football team. There is no problem with girls playing football. I
don’t really understand the traditional mindset of the older generation and their
stereotypes of what a girl should and shouldn’t do. You have been a reliable captain
for two years and you have successfully proven your leadership skills. You are not
only a driven person, but also care about teamwork and your relationship with other
teammates. I believe football has brought you friendship and a caring personality,
rather than just bad grades and inappropriate behaviour. I believe you can keep
enjoying the fun of football and I hope that you can convince your parents of your
interest.
