from seeing your posts and getting your personal information. In case something
happens, it would be easier to find out who had access to your information.
Second, if I were you, I would not disclose too much personal information when
using social networking sites. You can also consider using some fake information
on the Internet. Then people can’t get useful information from you and it can ensure
your safety.
I would like to share with you a real story of losing personal information on the
social networking site.
My friend Mary was just like you. She liked to share her daily experiences
on the Internet. She had thousands of followers and she felt proud of that.
Unfortunately, someone got her personal information from her posts. She started to
receive strange phone calls every day, which made her anxious and scared. A few
months ago, Mary cancelled her account on the social networking site. She told me
that she would not share her personal information anymore.
I hope that you know well enough the potential dangers of sharing a great deal
of personal information on social networking sites. I also hope that you can protect
yourself.
